This registration is for those applying to coach in the 13-15 age group.
We expect to play games at a variety of local Tuscaloosa area parks and schools. This includes:
We are working with other schools and parks including TCHS, Gordo, PARA, and Sipsey Valley and may add locations depending on logistics and team numbers.
This age group will run from the end of the middle school season through the end of May, and is open to anyone who is 15 or younger on 4/30/2024, anyone who is in 7th, 8th, or 9th grade (including those in middle school who played on school teams), 10th graders not on a varsity baseball team and/or with league approval, and anyone who played in Fall 2023. Additionally, players in our 11-12 league may play-up into 13-15.
Games will be scheduled on weeknights and the schedule will be adjusted to minimize/eliminate conflicts with 11-12 for those kids playing up.
We will permit additional "frozen" players in this age group subject to league approval up to 5 players. As a draft league, the goals is for all kids who want to play to be able to, so this is not intended to be a "Metro" or "travel" league. Games are not scheduled on weekends so that teams or players wanting a more travel-ball experience can still play in tournaments separately from the league.
